I wanted to give everyone an insight to my daily regime. (Apologies for the poor quality, but thanks to Evie Oxton for saving it with her directing skills later in the vid which made it a little better)
So as always I begin with about 20 minutes of mobility work. As you can probably see, I need it, this is important as the stress i put on my body on a daily basis needs loosening up to prevent the risk of injuries.
I begin with 15-30 minutes of cardio, this will differ each day depending on my mood and motivation. Today I chose boxing.
Then we moved onto some weights and Wednesday tends to land on back day.
Starting off with pull-ups:
Wide grip (over arm) x 10
Wide grip (under arm) x 10
Close grip (over arm) x 10
Close grip (over arm) x 10
Followed by a heavy row:
4 x 12
It was finished off by 2 lat pull downs (I forgot to record the wide grip):
Close grip/wide grip:
5 x 10
This was more than enough for me as the intensity was high.
So I train roughly 2 hours a day, 6 times a week. Consistently (is the most important word here).
Now, there is always other things I need to be doing in them 2 hours, but that is the time I set. It’s not that anybody ‘doesn’t have time’ to train, it’s that you don’t put that into a priority in your week.
Everybody has time, we are human beings, animals! Don’t sit down, set aside times each week and do something active. Make the changes.
