
Will’s Rehabilitation
Will severely sprained his ankle a few months ago. It put him out of the season and on crutches for about 6 – 8 weeks. He carried on training even when on crutches, as we always found ways to exercise.

My Daily Work Out
I wanted to give everyone an insight to my daily regime. So as always I begin with about 20 minutes of mobility work. As you can probably see, I need it, this is important as the stress i put on my body on a daily basis needs loosening up to prevent the risk of injuries.

Strength & Conditioning Training
Strength and conditioning circuits. We mixed some plyometrics with some strength training. Plyometrics is a brilliant way to incorporate fast twitch muscle fibres and increase speed.

Training with Rachel
Rachel is a bit of a machine in the gym. But a life long rugby player (full contact may I add) and ballet dancer, I don’t think Rachel will mind me saying she has one or two problems which can cause her issues day to day and in training.

Conditioning with Sarah
Sarah’s a rugby player. Her training is primarily based around rugby conditioning. She is a perfect example of progression.

Hoylake Rugby Club Session
Here’s the rugby squad circuit doing a very tough session. 1 cardio, 1 legs and 3 upper body. They performed it 60s on 30s of x2 and did the circuit twice. Hats of to all who attended.
