Sarah’s a rugby player. Her training is primarily based around rugby conditioning.
Here she is blasting out some leg work. She is a perfect example of progression. Her squat improved from 40kg to 70kg in a matter of weeks. With this her speed and explosiveness has increased dramatically on the field!
After addressing a few issues with tight hip flexors and hamstrings (still a way to go but we’ve seen huge improvements) her mobility and strength has increased for the better.
Still focusing on her Strength and conditioning from being a rugby player I had her doing some complex exercises (all over, multiple muscle groups) to help build speed, power and agility.
We still focused on her weak areas while seeing some improvements all over.
Sarah could not, until recently, lift 5kg over her head from a shoulder injury she couldn’t shake. Now she’s push pressing 20kg multiple times, in multiple sets, from an anterior and posterior angle.
A few posterior lunges to lengthen the glutes and piriformis with a single arm over head press to stabilise and strengthen the core.
Each week she blows me away with her results and progression.
